Studio Day

Ok…My Plein Air paint­brush is just itch­ing to get out­doors and paint,  but here in NY we are still wait­ing some­how for Spring. Today it is foggy and over­cast and damp out­side. …No wor­ries, there is always the art stu­dio, and I will work on my lat­est oil por­trait that I call “Gini”

I am paint­ing it from a very worn out black and white photo, and I am enjoy­ing every minute of this paint­ing adven­ture. So far, I have most of her face done, but now for the hard part…her hair. Wish me luck!
