No Pressure
"Having gone on three international painting trips with Jeanne (and 1 Trip to Monhegan Island in Maine), I can say that Jeanne organizes the "best artist retreats" for the money. They are extremely well organized, the villa locations are heavenly with beautiful vistas and charming villages and towns nearby, friendly van drivers took us everywhere and even made unscheduled stops for photo ops, meals at villas were great... Especially on trip to France where our hosts invited the entire village to see our art exhibit and attend farewell reception on final night of trip. The 8 course meal they prepared for our last night was truly elegant and beautiful. Something I will never forget. At Malvarina in Umbria, Italy we stayed at a villa on a sprawling agriturismo with a farm and animals on the property.
Our accommodations were beautiful and comfortable... The meals were amazing... Everything was fresh and delicious... Wine and conversations flowed freely... The family who owned the property could not do enough for us.
It was a wonderful trip. I hold all Jeanne's trips in highest regard. She spends lots of time with painting sessions and new techniques, but we also have plenty of time to sightsee and shop! Thanks Jeanne for so many happy memories.
I could have gone on for pages. So much fun on your trips. Great group of painters too. Miss everyone. Maybe a retreat in USA some time?"

"I have had the pleasure of attending Jeanne’s painting workshop in Frayssinet, France. She is an excellent instructor for artists at every level and enjoys sharing her talent. With the most joyous, warm and encouraging personality she released my fear of painting outdoors and covered everything including equipment, tools, surfaces, color, composition and design layout. Her style is relaxed and easygoing and she makes everyone feel welcome. She makes you want to get out there and paint! In addition to plein air painting, we also painted in the studio where she taught us a really fun technique in watercolor pouring. What a wonderful experience! Thank you Jeanne!"

"I would comment that my trip to Italy with Jeanne Retreat was one of the best experiences of my life! I was able to focus on my painting without any of the pressure or stress of being in a class while meeting a great group of similarly-minded women and seeing some amazing sights. We were literally “Off the Beaten Strada,” as our tour was named. We did things not always found on conventional tours, like swimming and wallowing in a series of thermal pooIs with a waterfall and climbing up the side of a Medieval castle! Jeanne Salucci is a great teacher and wonderful friend."
